For the longest time, SS has been the main advertisement portal in Latvia for posting various classified ads. Technological development has been moving forward with the pace of time, but, in its entire existence, SS has not seen a face-life or even minor updates for easier and faster filtering of information. Sadly, ads from SS.lv are inconvenient both for the buyer and seller. Where do we go from here?
There is an alternative!
We have stumbled upon a new portal – Dalder. It offers the same basic functions as ss.lv, but it is amazingly user-friendly – simple yet modern. Remember not being able to filter ads on SS? Remember looking for a couch in Ventspils, and being stuck browsing through hundreds of photos of couches in Riga, Valmiera and other cities before realising that there are no offers in Ventspils… Dalder uses easy to understand filter system – item, location, etc.
Simple user login
SS.lv does not offer the option of logging in with your social profile, which means that you are stuck creating a new account, remembering a new password and all that jazz. Who has time for it, anyway? Now, Dalder understands the needs of a modern user, and logging in has never been easier.
To make it worse, the ancient SS.lv user system does not do you any good at all – it contains no seller information, which increases the risk of purchasing stolen or fraudulent goods. Dalder has that covered as well – not only the seller information is readily viewable, but the buyers can leave reviews, too.
Coupons and special offers?!
Whilst SS.lv is bare-bones classified ad portal. Yes, you guessed it – Dalder provides additional services – coupons, special offers, sales… A function that the old SS has not even thought of bringing about. Cost-free ad placement is not a bonus feature, either. It is readily available to anyone.
What does the future hold?
With the arrival of a strong competitor, SS.lv is left with no choice but to change, provided it still wants to survive in the future. We are talking new looks, advanced functions and user-friendly interface. Without any action, SS may as well become a thing of past rather quickly.
